Tony “Night Eagle” Oakes plays lead guitar and harmonica, and his vocals lend the band a distinctive attitude. He has many years experience as a musician and songwriter, having played everything from bluegrass to Billy Idol and a little of everything in between. Through the years his music has been influenced by many great musicians, and those inspirations have combined to help Tony create his own unique playing style, so you'll hear all your favorites rolled into one. And listen closely to the original songs Tony has written. His songs will get your feet moving and will touch your heart.
Rick “Fingers” Brown has been playing professionally just about all of his life. He has been known as “Fingers” since he was about 11 years old growing up in western NY, and with his awesome keyboard style you can easily understand why. He has played just about every style of music, from jazz to rock, through the years, and enjoyed them all.
Randy “One Speed” Matheson plays guitar and bass and sings lead and backup vocals. Randy began playing in his dad’s country band at age 14, and has played gospel, bluegrass, country, southern rock and true rock 'n roll. He has made several recordings as a studio musician, and his superior abilities contribute to the band’s comprehensive, satisfying sound.
Dean "Animal" Arrigo plays killer drums. With his many years experience as a drummer, he has a very unique style, lightning fast speed, and a definite flair of his own. He loves to perform on stage, and his goal, simply put, is to see everyone having a good time.
The Night Eagle musicians have opened for the Allman Brothers, Restless Heart, Matt Stillwell, Vern Gosdin, Molly Hatchet, Confederate Railroad, David Allen Coe, Wade Hayes, B.T.O., Tinsley Ellis, Johnny Winter, and The Black Crowes, among others.
